After just one week break, the FIM Superbike World Championship<\/strong> returns relentlessly with the fourth round of the season, taking place from May 1st to 3rd at Balaton Park<\/strong>. A Hungarian GP without a reigning king, as last year\u2019s specialist has moved to MotoGP and many riders are aiming to take the throne. For Lorenzo Baldassarri<\/strong>, this is a great opportunity to take another step forward, confirming the pace shown in previous races and improving based on the work started with the team. Lorenzo is gaining more and more confidence with the powerful and agile Ducati Panigale V4R<\/strong> prepared by GoEleven<\/strong>, building an increasingly solid relationship in every aspect, both technical and beyond.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abAt Balaton Park, already on Friday we need to understand our starting point to build the weekend. The goal is to confirm the pace from the previous races and reduce the gap to the fastest rider, who at the moment is Nicol\u00f2 Bulega<\/strong> and is making the difference, so we want to close the gap we currently have in the race. It\u2019s a slightly different circuit than usual, with tight corners and chicanes in a go-kart style, where you need to brake hard and we must have strong braking, but also be agile and have good traction to ride well in tight sections. Last year the specialist on this track was Toprak Razgatlioglu<\/strong>, and after his move to MotoGP, I\u2019m curious to see who will be the most competitive. I hope to keep improving and continue the path we are building together with GoEleven, but the positive aspect is that we have several races in a row up to the Misano round, which is my \u201chome\u201d event. This is positive, it motivates me and spending more time on the bike, without long breaks, works in our favor.\u00bb <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As explained by Balda<\/strong>, Balaton Park features an almost karting-style layout, which forces the rider to brake hard and look for as much traction as possible on corner exit. Agility can be decisive both in qualifying and in the race, but at the moment it doesn\u2019t clearly indicate any favorites. It will be interesting to discover who will be the fastest over the 4,075 meters<\/strong>, connected by as many as 17 corners<\/strong>, and already from free practice, Baldassarri<\/strong> will try to attack to set up the entire round in the best possible way. With this event, the Superbike<\/strong> championship also picks up pace and gets into the heart of the season, so we can only invite you to follow what promises to be another unmissable weekend of racing and emotions.<\/span><\/p>\n
