The day opened with Superpole, where the riders had to hunt for a good grid position. Lorenzo was the most active on track with 10 laps, taking 8th place.<\/span><\/p>\n

At 12 local time Race 1 got underway. Balda made a good start, immediately trying to get close to the top positions: on the third lap, however, the Italian was the victim of a highside – fortunately without consequences – in turn 1, which put an early end to his race.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow we will be back on track for the warm up, scheduled for 1.55 CET, and especially for Race 2, which will start at 5 CET.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There’s nothing to say about today’s race, except that I’m glad I didn’t get hurt. Unfortunately I ended up slightly off the good line, and this track is unforgiving. It was not our day, tomorrow we will try to make up for it”.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
