Balda completed 7 laps in total, finishing 7th. <\/span><\/p>\n

With the final preparations completed, Race 2 got underway at 12.30.<\/span>
\nBalda made a good start from 4th place, immediately getting into the fight for victory. In the second part of the race Lorenzo – together with Oncu, Aegerter and Manzi – managed to get away, ready to play for the win in the final laps. Here, however, the Italian rider was forced to raise his pace, losing ground to his rivals and having to settle for a still very positive 4th place.<\/span><\/p>\n

By virtue of the weekend’s results Baldassarri remains in second position in the overall standings, with 300 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will be back on track from 7th to 9th October at the Portuguese circuit of Portimao, for the ninth round of the 2022 season.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In the first part of the race everything went in the right way, while in the final part I suffered from the overheating of the rear tyre first and then the front one, which forced me to settle in the final. On days like this it’s better to pick up the maximum, as we did: the championship is still long, and we have no intention of giving up<\/i>!<\/i>“.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
